A bit about me:
Favourite alcoholic beverage?
I stumbled across a Peruvian venue in Melbourne with my partner named Pastuso, and there I was introduced to the Pisco Sour. Back several years ago, the pisco liquor was hard to find at most bars and liquor stores. Now that it's more accessible, I've been able to make it often at home!
Favourite non-alcoholic beverage?
Apart from coffee, I'm a big fan of a ginger-forward masala chai.
Red, White, or Dessert?
I'm more of a fan of cocktails, so I'm very much a dessert wine enthusiast!
How did you start Sip and Swirl Haven?
After moving out with my partner, we went through the exciting phase of investing in furniture and homewares to truly make our place feel like home. We focused on finding unique, practical, and stylish pieces that reflected our personalities. This made me even more eager to invite family and friends over for lunches and dinners as I ventured into my "hosting era"!
With more people spending time at home due to remote and flexible work, there's a growing interest in decorating spaces to be inviting, comforting, and thoughtfully designed. This really resonated with me as I've been on my own journey to create a united and stylish home.
I absolutely love hosting lunch and dinner parties with family and friends, and having a beautiful home bar adds that extra touch of elegance and fun. So, Sip and Swirl Haven was born out of my passion for creating inviting, luxurious spaces where wonderful memories can be made.
